The Hospital was founded in May 1952 and is one of the earliest hospitals of its kind in East China. It has become a comprehensive TCM hospital providing medical treatments, scientific research, education and preventative healthcare. Annually the hospital has eight thousand outpatients and ten thousand inpatients for treatment, containing 500 beds. It has a team of language interpreters to complement the lectures and clinical tutors.
The Study Tour
This is an intensive practical course on the use of Chinese Massage, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs in clinical practice and takes place in the Second Affiliated Hospital to Zhejiang College of TCM in Hang Zhou, China. It is specially designed for graduate and post graduate students.
